THE #1 MISTAKE I SEE TRAINING CLIENTS MAKE:

So, you want to drop a couple of pounds eh?

If you're like many, the first step seems easy ...

Push yourself ... more workouts ... longer workouts ... increased cardio or HIIT training, 5 days a week ... maybe 6 ... or even 7.

You're exhausted, but that's what it takes, right? Well ...

Weeks go by but the results aren't there. You may have even regressed.

Frustration sets in. How can all this extra work/effort be working against you?

My guess? You're probably outworking your food.

Put another way, you're putting in so much 'extra' work, that your body isn't able to recover properly.

There's too much breakdown going on. And not enough nutrition to heal.

When the body is constantly stressed, hormones are not properly balanced to facilitate fat burning and muscle gain.

More/harder workouts actually begin to work against you rather than for you.

So, beware of outworking your food. And make sure your body has a solid foundation of nutrition to recover from training ... and stress ... and life!

(Oh - and don't forget about sleep too!)

It's all about training smarter, not necessarily harder.

Remember, give your body what it needs, when it needs it!
